FAQ : I got tierd of this sort of email,
so I have addressed it once and for all there.
FAQ
This was written years ago, but is still valid. Also note when you see an inappropriate ?, it isn't supposed to be there.
( I have noticed this on various pages of my site, damn.)
I wrote
all this on my old PC, and it won't convert it on this new one. I have to
go over all the text, and change the " or ' by hand, which is time consuming..sorry.
I read your comments on demon possession. in it you slammed the stereotypical
christian view of possession...glad you had your axe to grind and can use this website to
do so but you never addressed the issue.
A:
I have addressed the issue in my next book. I have also been working on more info
regarding demons and this subject matter. I do not post everything I write about on my
website, often I will only mention things briefly.
you merely raised yourself up due to the "ignorance" of others in this subject matter.
have you ever allowed a demon to possess you?
A:
Yes, every day.
what was it like? why not tell that side instead of lowering yourself lower than those you
detest so much...or is that the way of working with demons?
A: Oh I will tell! In my book.
Get serious please. It’s all a matter of etiquette and how much I can take in one day (i.e.
"lowering myself"). I’m not above my share of ignorance at times. I contribute to the
world and I learn more about myself by doing so. Its not hard to get caught up in baby
games when you must deal with the public and I hate it. As a matter of fact I am to the
point where I have backed off from ‘the public’ considerably. I need my space.
I will tell what I am told to explain, as I said I am working on that section now.
I can only tell what I am allowed to. Sounds positively evil doesnt it,lol.
in your description of the listed demons, you give information on different demons. what
is your reference source you used? did these demons speak to you or someone you
know?
A:
I used a portion of goetic texts and some mythology, and the rest is from my personal
dealings with them. Yes they speak to me..constantly.
what qualifies you to speak with authority on demons and their origins?
A:
They gave me the authority! I have to deal with them and no one else. What ever people may think
is
of no consequense to me while I am alive or when i die.
I live this everyday and every minute of my life! They are
always with me, whether I like it or not.
how much faith does it take to believe in something with no tangible proof of their
existence?
A:
No tangible evidence?? Come stay at my house and then tell me theres no tangible
evidence!! I can tell you some interesting stories about what goes on here and how many
"normal" people have seen my 'friends'.
it seems to me, and I speak merely as an observer to your "faith," that you require as
much faith in your religious beliefs as the average christian in theirs.
A:
I have no faith. I have experience and evidence/ proof. I mostly know what to expect
now. Faith is believing in something you can not see. I see everything and it’s not always
pleasant. What I am involved in is rather strange, it's not even religion as far as
I'm concerned, it's all just matter of fact.
can all the demonic possessions christians spout off about be attributed solely to
medical conditions?
A:
Mostly. Demons don’t care to much about the average christian, unless they have
something to contribute to the real demonic cause. I was a christian and they called me.
Go figure eh.
you quote the demons of legion on your website...what about them? they where real
demons...at least you believe so or else you wouldn't have them on your website.
A:
Ah, I don’t believe in that story. I think its a nice little quote and thats why I use it. Theres
no reason to take everything at face value.
and if you believe in legion, did they not ask to be put into the swine rather than go back
to hell or where ever it was they were afraid to go back to? why do you think that was?
why do you think jesus had immediate power over them? either your saying he believed
in demons or he had absolute power over them or both. either way, they were afraid of
him...not the other way around.
A:
I think its all ‘hog wash’.
please understand something, I am not trying to provoke you to an argument. I am
merely confused about what you are all about. are you objective enough to use all
sources of information properly and in its proper context or are you out to prove a point?
A:
Theres a time and a place for ‘proper context’. First I need the time for it, and that will be
devoted to my books, not always my website.
I dont always have the time to explain everything in detail to everyone that writes. I often
dont even care to anymore. I tell what I can or what I feel like telling.
And actually, yes I do try to prove a point with some things.
Objective? Lets talk about objective. Its my space that is always invaded. I didn’t ask for
this task but I have it. You wrote and didn’t even leave an email address. Most
people dont. My info is here for everyone to read. I have learned much on the subject of
being objective, and I try to be. Most people are not because they dont care to be. I’m
not perfect and I don’t believe I ever said I was. I don't want to be perfect anymore, it's to much
pressure.
This next bit of Q & A was taken from my old message board. I've had many people ask the same
or similar questions so I thought I would post this.
2/2/02
Q: Would you mind spelling your last name phoenetically for me? Secondly you also mentioned to me that you
rewrote the last chapter of The Legacy to include men.
Did you make any significant changes or did you just change all the 'she's to read 's/he'?
If you made significant changes to the text I am just curious as to what those changes were.
Lastly I am wondering if you have an estimate on when your other books will come out. I am dying
to read those too
A:
Cythrawl is pronouned "kee-thrawl" . In Welsh mythology it represents two concepts, it is
destruction without creation, and also a male god which resides in the Underworld.
There are no signifigant changes in that particular section. However, I did include a new rite
( rite of the black sun).
As far as my other book, I am working on it now. I only have small editing tasks left and hopefully
it won't take to much longer.
Q: Jyade, you know how you have that list of books in the FAQ section that contain the basics that
we "need to master" in order to move further? Do you really think that things such as circle
casting, color meaning, elements, etc. are really important things to master in black magic?
I'm under the impression that all that is needed is respect, a serious intent, and pretty simple
communication rituals. Granted I've only studied the occult for four years, but I always found
all that other piddley crap to be worthless. From my experience it all serves as imagery to aid
people in performing ego magic. What's the deal?
A:
As you said in your other post, you like to be informed. This is what learning trivial stuff is
about. To be informed, to understand. When you learn stuff like what colors mean, or
symbols and other bs, it helps you to understand what is happening to you when you move on.
The spirits sometimes talk in riddles, they show symbols, colors are prominent , this all
represents where you are in your progress. (it's a quest after all, they often do not give you
the answers, you have to figure it out by experience.)
Learning the bs is like going to grade school before you take on high school, because they
teach you the foundation. Know what I mean?
You said: "I'm under the impression all
thats needed is respect, serious intent etc.."
Very true, and very important, but you will need more to go on eventually, and I'm certainly
not saying that you will learn anything important from stupid books, ( most of them anyhow) but
you will learn, from yourself and from them. Then you will be led to things that will help you
to interpret or understand, and from your perspective and theirs,
not necessarily what books say, although that helps sometimes to.
They dont hand out info on
a silver platter, you have to work ( hard) for it mostly.
...hope this helps you a bit.
Q: Jyade, I just finished reading your book about five seconds ago.... but a great piece of work. Kudos.
I do have one question. I dont know if you're gender biased but your book somewhat gives that
impression of you (I dont mean any offense, I'm just saying) and my question is this, are you
saying a guy, not unlike myself, would have a harder time with the journey than would a woman?
You do seem to imply that.
A:
I didn't mean to exclude men from that particular experience. As a matter of fact, I
have just finished rewriting that section. I changed it around a bit in order to include men
and women. The basis of that
section( dark sorcery o/t crone) is to relate the feminine aspects of darkness etc ,
feminine energy is negative ( cosmic negative, not "bad")and everyone needs to experience
the energy of the crone.
On average, women are intuitive- inner, negative, lunar energy; men are sun, positive,
external- logic ( unless your a water sign and more 'magical' than most men.)
This is why women are more in tune with the Otherworld and 'the experience', they already have
the necessary elements in order to make contact. Men mostly have to train in order to see and
experience. But, as I said this is on average. To answer your question, I am not gender biased.
There was a time when I hated men( because I was married to one for 10 years, and I hate him.
I'm divorced now, thank the gods!) I have experienced 'male' energy to, still am to a point.
This is a crucial step towards the integration of positive/negative, male /female. You need to
experience - live it all. Females need to experience male energy also..it comes in due time..much more to be said on this matter..
Q: Well I'm a saggitarious so I guess I'm screwed. I speculated that maybe you had a bad
relationship, you hint at it a lot. I have a few questions about your book now. I know your not
into banishings but you include a time to do banishings, the waning moon. Also from what I
understand circles are meant to protect people. I know your not into that but you include
circle casting as an option. Again why? Now for my real questions. Regarding the sacrifice,
how do you do it? Do you just leave the item where ever you performed the ritual? And about
consecrating the tools. How might this be accomplished? I've heard other people's opinions on
doing this but I would like yours. I personally have never had to consecrate anything because
the magic I have done is very similar to chaos magic. I just needed a paper and pen and I was
set.
A:
Sag is a good sign to actually. ( generally speaking) Sag is honest & earnest in his intent as
well as mature ( this is half the battle in seeking out a relationship with the spirits) My
bad relationship, ha! It's involved. That is what sent me over the edge, it's a long story.
It wasn't even an option for me really. The spirits had this whole thing planned for me. I was
in love, but had to leave him...long story.
Anyhow, Banishings: This covers two areas. Banishings in ritual means banishing the spirits or
the energy of the spirits. To me this is total shit and not what is needed. I never banish my
spirits. Ever. Total insult. To banish unwanted energy, say from an unwanted situation is
another story. This is where you would banish the energy in the waning phase of the moon.
Circles: Circles have a history, thats why I sometimes use them (if I am in the mood for
ceremony) As far as people who use them today, they use it for some sort of hokey protection.
Protect them it might ( in their head), but who the hell needs to be protected? I do not fear my friends, a
circle of protection is sh*t in my opinion and totally useless. But I said use a circle if you feel scared at first, thats ok, as
long as you lose the blanky at some point.
Consceration: To consecrate, in my opinion, means to use it in love. Its a
dedication of your tools/ items to whom ever you will use for. Not dire, not always necessary,
but energy and intent is everything and never ever hurts.
Sacrifice; Touchy subject. I must be nuts. When I sacrifice I use blood.( NO, I never kill
anything! I love animals, more than people actually ) But, whatever
you use, its meant as a show of respect and dedication. You could bury two pennies and it
would be the same as leaving a gold coin. Its all in the intent. You can a leave a twinkie and
just bury it in your backyard or leave it on the alter, when the rite is done. I pour blood all over the place, but I
either bury the left over or hose it off ( because if my neighbors saw my alter full of blood
they would call the cops, lol. Yes it's outside in full view) Oh, in order to consecrate any
tools you just have to say something simple, to the spirits and thats that. No stuffy or silly
invocations required. Such as " I consecrate this in the name of.. for.." and blah blah thats
it. Everything in magic, as I'm sure you already know, comes from your mind and your intent.
They ( spirits) know the score, its that simple. But they like to hear it. It's true. It builds
the bond.
I'm serious about that point.
C: My numer one goal in life is enlightenment. Jyade's method of first being destroyed makes alot
of sense because that's how it is for many things. Farmers burn old vegetation so better crops
can grow, weight lifters break down muscle and then it rebuilds itself stronger, etc. I want to
make the journey someday but I'm a bit uneasy about how it will affect my life. Its a given
that I'll go insane but I'm sure I'll pull out of it and learn from it. I'm thinking that maybe
the journey wont be as bad for someone who has studied the material on the website and read
Jyade's book as it was for Jyade herself. If I have an idea about what to expect and what may
happen to me I may not be so freaked out when it does happen. The point of this is that I know
I'm going to have to take care of myself during the journey. I dont want my madness to interfere
with my studies or my career because I want to be able to take care of myself and not wind up
out on the street somewhere. An enlightened bum is still a bum. Anyone have any thoughts on
the subject?
A:
The journey won't be as bad for someone who knows a bit of what to expect. It
still will not make it easy though. I had no idea what was happening or what to expect .
About the trip interrupting your life: it will. It's not a part time thing or something that
we can control in that manner when it starts. It is meant to disrupt everything. That doesn’t
mean that what suits you, if it be your studies, will necessarily be taken away or if so, it
could be given back with new perspective and direction, that which suits the new.
